| I've finished up the layout for the new ToS site! If you want to view it, go here. I've gotten a lot better at imaging, but I'm not THAT good. The banner is really bad, and if I ever get a graphics imager, then the banner will change. I really think it's much better than the really, really, bad layout that you're looking at now. The name of the new site is on the banner. By the way, ToU will be on a different host, because tripod is horrible.
EDIT: I have it on t35 now. temple-of-undine.t35.com. I'll make a different account without the dashes, I just screwed up with it, i just have to get it deleted.

| Well, I've gotten caught up in school and I forget about MS too much... and whenever I have found the time to write content, I'm just not motivated. I've decided that I need to put MS on hold until I grasp some more interest in Golden Sun. I've been playing Tales Of Symphonia for a while, and it's really awesome, so I've decided that a ToS site would be a good idea. What's funny is that I've seen a few other golden sun webmasters admit they're addicted to ToS. When you look at it, there's quite a similarity between the two. Anyways, I've started working on the layout for the site. I have photoshop now, so I'll be able to make much better images than the one that's at the top of this page. Also, I'm in this technology class in school, and we're learning many things about photoshop. So you can expect better images than the ones I've been making. Of course, I'll definitely need a graphics person in my staff. Continuing on with my rant... MS will stay on the internet, but it won't be active. Possibly in the future, if the ToS site does well, then I might come back to it and start hiring staff to start working on it. If I'm interested, I might help out a bit and network it with the ToS site. The ToS site will be called ToU. The 'T' doesn't stand for tales, but the 'o' WILL stand for of. I hope that ToU will have better progress than MS. Sorry about putting MS 'on hold,' but if I didn't, you'd probably be looking at the same page next february.=( .

| ... I've been really lazy this past month, I can't say much because I've said about three times; "I'll get the TLA summons up soon." And I haven't. I can't get to GS Sprites for some reason, and it makes me mad because I haven't downloaded the sprites for TLA, but that isn't a helpful excuse. I'll just say I'm almost done. Also, I've moved MS to a new host, but I want to get the TLA summons finished and then I tell you where it is.

Sorry, I forgot to say I went on vacation for three days. I won't rant again like the last post. The site's growth rate will probably slow down after school starts on the 7th for me. Things'll be pretty slow. Hopefully by next week, the TLA summons will be up.

The GS1 summons guide is up! And I've been thinking more about moving... fire emblem fusion is just sitting up there with a halo and harp, the sun shining down on it... I think that's where we're going next. Tripod is a horrible host... well not that horrible, it just doesn't satisfy me, it makes me feel way too limited. I think that it's the best way to go, because I don't want something like "blahblah.freehost.com"... a subdomain with some kind of name like "free host" just doesn't cut it all the way, and that's why I liked tripod, because it doesn't sound like some idiot's personal website. I dunno if Vanquishing Assailant will be appealed by MS, so I'm gonna have to really get to work on the site. The TLA summons guide is next on my list of content. I will really need some staff. Just mainly content writers. No forum mods, admins, graphic artists, comedians... etc are needed at the moment. I just need content writers, because if I want the site to grow, I will nneed staff. Oh yeah, and if anyone's willing to be a walkthrough writer(very very very very very unlikely), you're hired :). Though, I might have a few requirements for that... whatever. I'll get the forums up soon. They're all ready, it's just that I'm not ready for the forums to go up. I might hire more content writers if anyone else wants to be one, but getting two will be a challenge. But my main focus at the moment is getting a little more content. Then the forums. Then the staff. Then some more content. Then the move. That's how I'm looking at it. Maybe a few more sets of content pages until the next "phase". Woah... long post.

YAY I got this FTP program... it makes editing the site easier. I figured out that Tripod is stubborn with PHP, and I can't CHMOD anything... so this makes it official... MS will have to move. I don't know where I want to move to yet, but Fire Emblem Fusion looks pretty good... and I hardly know any good hosts besides a few. I like the subdomains... it just looks better. Anyways, I'm going to try and get sommore content out, and then I'll think about moving.

I got the TLA charachter bio page up! I have no idea why i did TLA first... Oh well. And I deleted some of the older posts. And like I said before, if you know any good hosts that will take files for cutenews, tell me them! Email me, my adress(es) are on the contacts page.

YAY I made a new banner! It took me forever to do it and it sucks! woohoo! Oh well... I'll decide later If I wanna keep it or not. I'm still working on the content though, I just suddenly went off and made the banner, while cutting down images for a content page. Ah, whatever, at least I'm doing something. I swear, it took me forever on the djinn guides because I went into a lot of detail, which is good for the viewer's point of view, but definitely not mine. Oh yeah, and the banner isn't put up on all the pages, not yet, ugh it gets soo annoying having to put links up on every page. I should just put them up anyways and when they're done, I just set it up with the link.
And don't forget to check out the lastest issue of Nintendo Power! It has awesome info on the DS. Read it.

Ok... I'm working on some more content. Hopefully I'll have a good amount of it by the end of august. As soon as I have some content, I plan to affiliate with GSV, Golden Sun Village. BTW I'm also a mod there :D... so you can PM me there. Also, I have finished setting up the forums, but I'm not opening them. There will be a job application board. I think this is too much, but if I can, I want as many staffers as I can. I'm just gonna list the jobs that are needed, and I'll put any jobs that have two open slots twice on the list.
- Content writer
- Content writer(NOT including the extras)
- Graphics Artist. Maybe not... I don't need one at the moment, so sorry, no applying for it yet. And if the site gets bigger, I might even need two, but definitely not now.
- Walkthrough writer. This is a totally optional position. I doubt anyone will want to. I plan to ask Ikillkenny for his, but if someone's willing to, you're in, and you don't have to even have any kind of test or a job interview.
- Forum Admin. BUT there are some limitations to this. I do not want a control freak admin. Don't do a bunch of stuff without PMing or emailing me. I just need an Admin to maintain the forums. If someone goes outta line, ban 'em. That's really what I need an admin for.
- Comedian. I know that this might be one of the first jobs to be applied for, so I probably will want some "samples" of your "work"... As in, I might ask all that are applying for comedian to write a rant, a comic etc etc.
- Extra person. This person will do pretty much anything that isn't covered by the above jobs. They'll be a forum moderator, and do anything extra, or they might help out with a project. As in, if someone needs help with something, extra person is there!
There aren't that many job requirements, but I want you to be good at your job. And please take note that I'm not accepting any job applications yet, so don't email me about the jobs.

Ok, well all I did was make the banner clearer. It was saved as a jpeg image and it looked kinda bad. It's missing the stupid little slogan on it... but I hated it, so I screwed it. I will make the banner better, as soon as I get more content finished. I did that one with a mix of Paint shop pro 8 and MSpaint, I just did a jumble of sprites and effects, so I'll get a better one later. I almost have the TLA djinn guide done. I went into a lot of detail in it, and how to get 'em all, so maybe you'll see why it's taking so long. That, my laziness, and because my computer hates me and is an SOB, is why i'm taking so long on the site. Right now I have a feeling that less than 10 unique people have visited this site... Ok I pretty much know. I should have the TLA djinn guide done by tomorrow, and I can then put both djinni guides up. I'm trying to set up the forums, but I'm having some "technical difficulties" with 'em. As soon as the djinni guides are up and the forums are up, I will take job applications.... lol mainly content writers, and maybe a forum mod. I don't need anything else. Some other things... I want to get this cutenews stuff up, but I have to get a whole new host and everything, so I'll get to it later. But if you know any good hosts that allow php, email them to me. That reminds me, I have to put up the contacts page... which is finished, but I guess i haven't put that up either. I also end up going slow because like I said before, my comp is a POC. Right now I'm on the family desktop, because my freakin internet SUCKS. I can get on it for like a fe minutes smoothly. I really need to get rid of every freakin toolbar... etc that i have on my browser, so it won't suddenly give me all these viagra pop-ups. What also sucks is that I've been writing all the pages on my computer, but I hardly ever get to do a whole lot of work when the internet is down. |

I'm right now in the process of getting more content. Though, now I look at the site, and then other sites, I feel like this layout looks horrible. I mean, look at AoA's layout! It's perfect. But then again, I read the history section and I saw that he started out with an OK layout in the beggining, and actually, someone else made the layout, since he said he was bad at layouts. I think as soon as I get content up on the site, I will set up the forums and have a forum where people can post layouts. You know, I think I should post a to-do list right here.
- Finish the TLA Djinn guide(first one already done)
- Start/finish the weapons guide and the armor guide(Both games)
- Create an item guide(both games)
- Create a Class guide(both games)
- Create a psynergy guide(both games)
- Summons guide(both games)
- RNG item guide(both games... kinda)

- Create A boss guide(both games)
- Codes and tips guides(both games)
- WALKTHROUGHS(both games) The reason I'm putting the walkthroughs later is because I want to use ikillkenny's from golden sun anonymous. I think it'd be better If i had some more content so i have a better impression, I mean, I wouldn't wanna let someone use my guide on a site with nothing on it!
- Charachter bios(both games, or maybe all in one page instead)
- forums
- Fan things, and all that fun stuff. Humor, quotes, commentary. and I also have a really cool idea, but I'm not saying, I don't want other people using the idea even though I'm right now talking to myself when I post.
